The Art of Giving. Still haven’t rustled up the perfect holiday gift? If Pa’s at all the artsy type, you might want to splurge on a $200 ticket to the Unite with Art auction and gals event this Saturday (June 18) at the Rocky Mountaineer Station, where you can bid on upward of 40 donated works by leading contemporary artists and designers while sampling food by local chefs including Maenam’s Angus An.

Might an original 1987 drawing of John Fluevog’s very first shoe design (pictured here) do the trick? How about a painting by Gabryel Harrison or a sketch by Leonard Cohen? All proceeds go to UNICEF Canada, so you don’t have to feel guilty for having so much fun.
